This has honestly done nothing but waste my time.. for appointment cancellations to the therapy sessions, not actually being therapy sessions. It's always something with the appointments here. Also, fun fact to be seen here. You have to have an observed urine test, before you even get seen which I think is completely insane. I did nothing to deserve and observed urine test, i showed up on my own free will.
High turnover in therapists. Be aware that if your child is seen here for therapy, they may get a new therapist every few months, usually one fresh out of school, and thanks to a lack of knowledge and experience, they may call CPS on you instead of doing their actual job of giving sound psychological advice and helping your child understand work through difficult feelings. It's sad that this is the only option for a lot of residents in this area.
I’m disappointed by the other reviews I’m seeing. These people WILL work with you as long as you’re patient, and polite. No, it won’t happen overnight, but be patient and you will get everything you need. They are trying their best, and they don’t get paid enough especially the therapists.
Horrible. I have been trying to call for a month no one will call me back. They discharged a patient with no referral or any help as to send this patient. Drove up there twice for an appointment and no one was there . Waist of time
Not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews not sure if they are mostly outdated, but I’ve had a wonderful experience with coastal horizons at the burgaw location! My therapist, Leah offers EMDR for trauma. They have telehealth options, as well as in office if you prefer and they got me a medication management referral within a week! Highly recommend
