We have been most happy with Coastal Energy Ltd. and their continuous great service. We have used them for installation of our heat pump and the ongoing annual maintenance. We completely trust them in ensuring that our heat pump is working efficiently. We have had their service technician Jay a few times and have found him to be knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment of our unit.
In the Fall of 2022 we had Coastal Energy assess and install a new heat pump system in our house. From beginning to the finish they were excellent and we have been very happy with our cozy heat pump. We had them come back this past September to do a check-up and was a pleasant surprise to see two of the technicians back to do the check. Coastal gave us a detailed & competitive quote for a dual furnace/heat pump install a year or so ago. Earlier this year when FortisBC rebates for dual fuel systems were set to be reduced, Coastal honored the original estimate & were able to complete the installation before the rebate deadline. They also supported me through the rebate process with FortisBC. Happy to say we've been satisfied with the equipment, the installation & the overall service. And I got my rebate :)
Excellent communication when identifying and addressing the issues related to my hot water tank, furnace and heat pump. Staff are efficient and personable. No pressure or sales tactics, just the facts and information required for 'you' to make your decision. I have over the years used four local services, but found by experience these folks are most efficient and reliable.
