Made an appointment 3 months in advance. They called 12 hour before myappointment and said I need prior authorization from my insurance. I could pay in full out of pocket or cancel?

Called to make an appointment specifically said needed to renew prescription for insulin pump supplies they said no problem. Wait a week to go wait another hour after my appointment time just to be told they don't deal with insulin pumps. Hey at least the refunded my money. But now I'm at deaths door with one more infusion set but hey accidents happen right?
