local regional credit union serving folk in the RTP area. staff are friendly and professional. great ATMs. Their digital banking site was recently updated and now is showing confusing data and is now harder to use. recent transactions failed to work. I have worked with Richie Ortiz on multiple occasions, and he is ALWAYS super nice, responsive and very helpful. He is the main reason we moved our company's business account and a personal account to Coastal after being with Wachovia and now Wells Fargo for over 35 years! Richie, thank you for always being so helpful and at times I think what you're helping me with is not even your job! It's important to recognize could work and Coastal has a good one with Richie!
I’ve been a member for several years and used to strongly recommend Coastal. Unfortunately, they’ve lost my trust after repeated issues. This is the fourth time they’ve placed a two-week hold on a check from my own company, and customer service said there was nothing they could do. Coastal has gone downhill over the past year and is no longer reliable. I’ll be moving my accounts back to a large bank.
Edit: Edit: 150 days later, still no response... I've had a Coastal account for years and previously they've been pretty good to me. But recently I've had several issues with their unservice. Then today when I was speaking with a Coastal rep, they said they couldn't verify my identity (even though the previous rep could verify me just fine), and then asked about my lenis!
