Customer Service - TRASH. Need help? TRASH. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. I have had 2-$50,000 auto loans in the last 5 years with CCU, and have never missed a payment, skipped/deferred, been late, have always over payed, and been hassle free. However, due to recent employment changes, I applied for a hardship deferment for 2 months while I recalibrate myself financially and find new employment. Coastal has gone down hill. Customer support is lacking. DO NOT recommend CUSO. I have been waiting for my transfer of retirement funds for over 60 days. Catherine Bryant does NOT know what she is doing. Catherine is not responsive and has missed scheduled meetings in the past. I do not recommend CUSO. I have tried speaking with the branch manager since they are ultimately responsible for the relationship with wealth management. They are not switching from CUSO to another firm. I do not recommend them either.
I have been with this institution since it was run by IBM employees. The level of customer service has drastically declined. I have had people eating and chewing in my ear while working with customer support. I asked someone to take me off speaker and she rudely told me that she has been on speaker for all of her calls for the past 30 minutes. I had to ask multiple times to be taken off of speaker so I could hear what she was saying. These folks do not have basic customer service skills.
Edit: Edit: 30 days later, still no response... I've had a Coastal account for years and previously they've been pretty good to me. But recently I've had several issues with their unservice. Then today when I was speaking with a Coastal rep, they said they couldn't verify my identity (even though the previous rep could verify me just fine), and then asked about my lenis! I walked in at 5:15pm wanted to see about opening a checking account. They would not help me because it takes 20 mins to open an account. Well I work to 4:30 I stated I still made it before closing, he said we have life's. Excuses me sir. Bad customer service. I guess I will look for another bank to do business with. I don't think 5 extra minutes would hurt considering is a new customer you are gaining and considering I was there before closing.
