What a great house! We are in a wonderful large house that is beautiful and spacious. But there are a few things you should know before renting from Anna Maria Life. You’re going to need trash bags. Second time on AMI and first using this agency for our family rental. Unfortunately this one fell short of expectations and of the listed description. While there weren't major issues, several small inconveniences add up. The home overall seemed bare, or perhaps not fully finished- clearly lacking furniture and decor in some rooms. There was no tv in one of the bedrooms, even though it was listed. They have since deceptively changed the listing description (I have screen shots). We absolutely love the house, Salt & Soul, on Palma Sola Bay! Waking up to the sunrise and looking over the bay was amazing. We saw dolphins from the dock and loved kayaking out to the little island and seeing all the pink spoonbills and other birds nesting. It was also so fun to ride bikes over to the nature preserve across from the neighborhood. There are lots of paved and unpaved trails to explore. Don't let the beautiful landscaping at Barefoot Dreams rental fool you. I came to Holmes Beach to recover from a surgery. As we walked out our car doors, we immediately smelled pot from the adjoining duplex. The duplex was dirty as were many of the utensils and kitchen items. We arrived on a Saturday night and the office was closed on Sunday. So, we did the cleaning ourselves. We called Monday to tell the office about a running toilet and broken lounge chair. Walked into our unit (Dragonfly) and the refrigerator wasn’t working. Zero communication to us regarding the issue and won’t return phone calls or emails. Very disappointing experience don’t rent from this company.
