I love vintage cars . . . but lack the expertise to work on them myself. I found Costal Classic online after purchasing a '57 Thunderbird. Wanted to install power steering, and fix a number of other issues, like gauges not working, driver door out of alignment. Ryan and his team took on the job. I would give zero stars if possible And their cost is outrageous. Possibly $800 worth of work was over 3000 20 hours in diagnosing, crazy The power steering pump they put in must have been rebuilt because it wobbles and will probably be need to be replaced. it’s not OEM new and they charged me twice as much as I could’ve got a chrome one and braided lines for, I told them there was a break in the wiring for the Tachometer and to replace wire and check never replaced the wire and never even put a fuse in the fuse holder and t... read more

I have a 1961 Studebaker that I have worked on almost exclusively by myself or with friends for 50 years. The time came when a job presented itself I was uncomfortable with. Coastal Classics was the shop I went to (after checking and rechecking). I could not be happier. Great job, owner on site, workmanship was excellent...and most of all...it was done right! If you have an old car these guys know it.... ask for a peek at the shop...great people!

Ryan and his crew rebuilt the engine on my 88 Vanagon. The Van runs like a dream, It was sitting in the show over the winter, it started up on the first turn. I drove it over 350 miles to Vermont. No issues. Thank you Ryan and your team.

Worse shop out there. Be aware. 15 years in business and only 19 reviews. I'm a business owner too and you can just buy those reviews from Google, until you have hundreds of reviews. That the 4....something. The trick they pull is, I won't tell you what anything costs and I won't tell you anything needs, tell us what you want done and we will overcharged you when you pick it up. Just let us look at it and believe us. Oh, and thousands to look at it. Super overpriced for subpar work. Replaced a hydro booster twice only to ins... read more
