Our boy Duke had some stomach issues and was throwing up a foamy substance! Duke has a history of eating plastic objects, like bottle caps, etc. Out of caution, we took Duke to Coastal Animal Hospital of Hatteras island and they were able to set an appointment very quickly and see Duke. They were very thorough and made sure that all of test needed to make an accurate assessment of his situation were done. Back in February we brought our older dog with us, we never leave home. It was her time to cross over Rainbow. Dr. Hicks staff were wonderful. They very patience comforting and let us have our time with her. This would be a Vet, I highly recommend this Veterinary if I live in the area to care for our dogs. Thank you all for the love!
Very professional, friendly and caring staff.
Our dog fell ill and the team worked to fit us in the Friday morning I called, coordinated getting records from our vet in MD, and did xrays while we were there. Dr. Hicks and the team were thorough, professional, empathic & caring; they even called me on Monday to check in on our dog. Highly recommend this group. I did see someone mention a same day visit fee; there was a modest one and totally understandable for the same day request.
