I went in with a slow leak. They told me I needed a new tire because of the proximity to the sidewall. It was 3 1/2 inches away. I was then quoted a price for a new tire that was $130 above list price. The long term employees that we all know became uncomfortable and left the room. I instructed them to put the tire back on which they did reluctantly. I then went to another national franchised tire shop near by who said they was no issue with the proximity to the sidewall.
