Wonderful dining experience. Food is elegantly prepared with impressive authenticity and care using the highest quality ingredients. Chef elevates common dishes to unexpected, culinary heights to deliver a Michelin rated experience. Cocktails are also high level and attentively prepared. Service is spot on and efficient. Really a must visit dining experience if you’re anywhere near the Santa Ynez Valley.
The prices were extremely high for what we received and the service was poor. The entrée was brought before the starter salads. The $62 steaks were so tough, we sent them back. Great bar, however. I would return to the bar, but not to the restaurant.
7/31/2026 What an amazing dinner at Coast Range. We were welcomed by Reina the wonderful hostess who sat us at a lovely booth with personality. Ciana and Ella took great care of us with Kye and Abraham assisting. We started with drinks and appetizers. My wife had the Gin cocktail and I had an amazing Margarita recommended by Ciana. Ambiente bonito porém sem ar condicionado. Atendimento extremamente demorado pois havia apenas uma atendente para o restaurante e para o bar. Caesar salad muito boa mas o steak veio muito passado e havia pedido ao ponto para mal. Molho bolonhesa do menu kids muito apimentado. Valores muito altos.
Food is good, people are nice, and the environment is good, but the price is too high for what it offers. 2 people= 3 drinks, one appetizer, 2 entrees with one side each, and a dessert= $298. We could have gotten just as great of food for half that price.
