Food was fantastic but WAY overpriced. We’ve had expensive nights out in L.A. and spent half of what it cost us at Coast Range for two steaks, two sides, one glass of wine each and dessert! I understand times are tough and food is getting more expensive, but this just seemed excessive for the quality/amount of food. I recommend coming here, but BEWARE you will pay an arm and a leg.
Wonderful dining experience. Food is elegantly prepared with impressive authenticity and care using the highest quality ingredients. Chef elevates common dishes to unexpected, culinary heights to deliver a Michelin rated experience. Cocktails are also high level and attentively prepared. Service is spot on and efficient. Really a must visit dining experience if you’re anywhere near the Santa Ynez Valley.
The prices were extremely high for what we received and the service was poor. The entrée was brought before the starter salads. The $62 steaks were so tough, we sent them back. Great bar, however. I would return to the bar, but not to the restaurant.
