it is impossible to reach anyone at this "office". I have learned that it's part of a shared office space - so not a "corporate headquarters" as we would expect. There is no one to answer the phone. They answer with a machine, leave you on hold for extended periods of time, then ask you to leave a message, finally ending with a recorded 'we cannot connect you at this time...." We need to reach someone, but it seems impossible.

My recent stay at Coast Hotels Victoria was unfortunately disappointing, largely due to the unprofessional conduct of General Manager Stephen Roughley and the dismissive response from Amy Alexander, Manager of Central Reservations & Distribution. would never stay there again at the one in Davis Bay, Sunshine Coast, BC. Our shower backed up, they came and cleaned it, then it backup to almost overflowing, so we insisted on a new room. We went from a 2 bedroom, kitchen with a view of the ocean to a 1 bed no kitchen no view at 10pm at night. We were offered a $30 discount for our trouble, when I finally got hold of the manager 2 days later, he offered a credit to another one of "his" hotels, which we declined, then finally a $70 discount. I had a very positive experience getting my account updated over the phone. I didn't wait long. Every experience I have had in person with Coast has been pretty positive so far. I like how the website is now and the rewards system and promotions and I think it's great that such a small program has many point redemption options and transfer partners. The only downside is that there aren't that many hotels across Canada.
