Staff wasn't friendly enough could use improvement
We stayed at 18 Coast Cottage September 8-15 2025. Although in a beautiful location and a beautiful home, it desperately needs some attention. The air conditioning went out twice while we were there and the oven apparently was not working and we were not aware till we began preparing a meal. They then tried to blame it on us. We had a conversation with the air conditioning repair man and he said he had already been out to the property multiple times. The unit was 16 years old and needed to be replaced. The Annie Laurie Cottage was spectacular. Spacious master bedroom with views of the ocean. Great location and had everything we needed when we cooked a meal. Everything was clean and clearly labeled. Definitely recommend staying here with family and/or friends.
The property we stayed at itself was very nice, spacious, and clean, and it had convenient beach access. However, the neighborhood and neighboring guests were completely out of control. A group of people in the neighborhood told their friends what the gate code to the pool was and threw large parties with 35+ people there all week. They blasted loud music, got extremely drunk, and took up the entire pool space. We were unable to use the pool because of this. There is no pool attendant so they could get away with it.
