If this counselor, would take a look at his own reviews, he might see, he needs some therapy himself. He is dishonest and twists what you say. He takes calls in session. He brings up himself, and his past in sessions, as if that is what should be done. He also doesn’t understand the importance of validating children and absolutely should not work with children.

The worst counselor/ physiologist I have ever been too. I went to him a couple years ago to help with some family issues I had with my dad. His wife had been very traumatizing to me and wasn’t willing to see her. On day my mom and I drove up to Reno for our appointment with dr.coward and he brought in my fathers wife with out asking me and my mother to see if I was “lying” (or whatever the reason was) bottom line, it was completely out of line, unethical and very traumatic because I saw someone I was not ready to see. After hiring Dr. Coard to help with a court matter, which he handled extremely well, I started seeing him for personal matters. He has helped me realize some of the problems in my life and how to handle them. He has also helped quite a bit with the ongoing court issues which have caused me some trouble. Dr. Coard is a very relaxed person, very personable, intelligent and doesn't sugar coat problems. I'd recommend him without issue. I still have a long road ahead of me, but the pot holes are getting easier to navigate.
