They charge what they want, I go to the dentist regularly, last appt was April 2025 and next one was today, (I’ve been seeing hospital dentist in between, got discharged in January this year, I went to the dentist today and the dentist said I have gum disease, just poked about in my mouth and took an xray. Said I need a scale and polish, clean of the gums etc said it would take 30 minutes but I would have to come back next week. I have been coming here for 14 years and the lady dentist was always fantastic with my treatment. I believe things changed after covid and now a male dentist is there where the service is shocking. In October 2025 he said because I have not been for a long time you will need a deep clean which would cost. A week later would be the treatment. In that week I have had no letter of what the treatment would be or the cost. It took no longer than 12 minutes and at reception they stung me with a bill of £180. I obviously disputed t... read more
Recently came to this dentist after neglecting my teeth for a while with bad mental health. Needed a tooth that was in a bad way extracted. I hadn't been to the dentist for over 10 years and have only ever had a filling. I was absolutely petrified and the dentist and his assistant were incredible. Patient and reassuring and got me through the procedure without me panicking. My tooth was out in minutes and I was on my way. Incredible. Helped to much with my fear of the dentist.
