A wonderful suprise! – My business partner and I travel the state of Fla. looking to find the very best pizza. So far we've found Portofino's in Bradenton to be the most authentic NYC pie. I stumbled onto Coal's through citysearch and needed to give them a try. We found the pie to be very thin and very flavorful. We thought Coal's could possibly give Portofino's a run for their money but it just wasn't in the cards. Best in the area!!! – This is a great brick oven pizza establishment. The pizza is the best I've had in Florida starting from Tampa working over. Very pleasant atmosphere and great service. You will NOT be disappointed! Very close to the best thin crust joint which is Pepes Pizza in New Haven CT! For deep dish nothing beats Chicago's own Gino's East.

hottdamnn!!!!! – Truely a blessing to the pizza lover in you. Fire hot brick oven blazin soon as you hit the door! The pie has a unusaully crust, slightly charred but no burnt taste and not greasy. I'm a cheese pizza man myself and I can't stand when a joint gives you a warmed up pie with half melted cheese on top. Brick oven makes it fresh, even their slices come from a freshly made pizza. Its Great!! – Nice atomosphere, friendly service, great prices, and great food. My 5 yr old loves the kids menu, and being allowed to color on the table cloth.
