I got a referral to Dr. Hayes to get my wisdom teeth out, and as someone who is extremely afraid of the dentist and anything related to oral surgery, Dr. Hayes and the surgical assistants put my mind at ease. Dr. Hayes answered all my questions with no condescension and thoroughly explained exactly what was going to happen. I had a very disappointing experience with this oral surgeon. The procedure was outrageously expensive, nearly three times the national average, and that was without any form of anesthesia. Throughout the procedure, there was little to no communication, and the surgeon showed no empathy or concern for my comfort. There was also no meaningful explanation before or after the procedure about what was being done or what to expect during recovery. The overall experience felt rushed and impersonal. Just had Lower bilateral third molar surgery. Dr Hayes is a very talented Oral surgeon. Healing was good. Staff is good.
Dr. Hayes and his team are the absolute best in the business. I’m a general dentist and out of all the specialists in my area, he is the one I bring my kids to for their wisdom teeth. Dr. Hayes has an excellent chair side manner, precise surgical skills and his pain management technique cannot be beat. My middle kid just had his wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Hayes and he’s doing awesome. I highly recommend this office. The doc and team are one of a kind.
