An amazing place saved my life
CVRM is a great place to help. However some of the staff really people skill issues. You have to get up at 5 a.m. which is fine because I get up early anyways. But when you hear staff being obnoxiously loud all throughout the night and letting other's they like into your personal space that stems a problem. Compassion is a must in this field of work and those that have control issues should not be in this line of work. Other than issues with volunteers and staff it's a good restart into independence.
the coaches valley rescue mission really saved me and I'm truly thankful for the amazing staff who are like family
operates like a cult being run by former COs. uses Bait and switch/1984 double speak to pimp their program. no real interest in genuine help other than a lure to inflate their numbers. it's a place that feeds you and you're out of the cold, but don't expect more than the bare minimum. also it's infested with roaches.
It’s a great place to serve the homeless and needy. They spend the money they have very carefully and well!
