Our home insurance premium has risen by 225% in four years, despite having no claims in 31 years. My auto insurance has risen by 115% in the same time period. After more than 45 years with Co-Operators, you can go pound sand. Further, the entire Co-Operators staff at the Peterborough Ontario office was let go and then replaced with temporary foreign workers.
When I hit black ice and ended up with a catastrophic injury, the staff at Co-operators were absolutely amazing. They helped us with every detail with the claim process. They actually contacted us to complete the settlement. My lawyer was shocked at how easy they made it. 10 years later, they are still helping us with all our insurance needs. Thank you to all the wonderful staff that have been there for us over the years.
Customer service, amazing, 10/10. Could not ask for better, so polite and helpful. Rates however, are an absolute joke. Policy comes due in 2026 so shopping around for a better rate, currently just under $200 with who im currently insured by. called this company, they quoted Over $450 a month for the exact same coverage.
This place is like throwing your money away. After this ice storm they are offering pennies on the dollar.
