After 15 years with this insurance company—and zero claims—they suddenly required an in-person inspection. The entire process was a nightmare to arrange, with constant back-and-forth just to get their team member on site. After the inspection, I was told I needed to hire three separate contractors, at my own expense, to “verify” basic details and conditions—many of which were things you could easily identify by eye.
