Extremely disappointing experience with this branch of The Co-operators. I contacted them on behalf of my senior mother, for whom I am fully authorized to handle insurance matters, simply to review her policy, request documentation, and understand why her premiums for a 2016 Nissan Sentra are around $220/month. Instead of receiving help, I was met with rude, dismissive, and confrontational service. overall took advantage of my father- he paid for years and when i took power of attorney and needed to make a claim they took my money and denied the claim , manipulating my on the phone to accept my father was moving to a retirement residence and that the unit was not insured , even when I just renewed the insurance and my fathers belongings are still in the home. its not vacant, they will do anything to try and misconstrue a claim and trick you so they can send a rejection letter, also they insured it as a condo, when my f... read more
