Going through a difficult claim currently. Have had some trouble understanding my policy, and what to do. John phoned and spent a long time talking us through and providing caring consultation. Definitely felt like we weren't alone in the process after talking with John. Finally got in touch today with our claim adjuster, very helpful and reassuring. 26 year customer, home and cars. Have to file a claim now. Asked the question if this would make our already expensive premium go up, and was told that there was forgiveness for the first claim, so it wouldn’t go up - BUT - we will lose our claim free discount. Read that again. Agent said your premium won’t go up - but you lose your claim free discount. So… It goes up. I asked how much will it go up? They won’t answer.
