I have had to make an insurance claim for a very minor parking accident my daughter had at her school. Although we have been CoOperators customers for decades and had no claims for well over a decade, I was told that we would likely be uninsurable when we go to renew. This despite the fact that we have policies on cars, a boat, a trailer, a house, and a cottage. Sounds more like a money-collecting company than an actual 'insurance' company to me. The minute there is an actual need, they try to show you the door.

The customer support through this broker is amazing!! Just wished the insurance company helped and was as supportive as their broker. TRULY - 5 stars for the broker. The insurer is a a different story, but this rating is ONLY for the broker's office

I can’t recommend this place enough! I needed insurance for my new car, and Alisa was amazingly professional and sweet. She put together a quote tailored perfectly to my needs and made all the coverage details very clear and easy to read. Since English is not my native language, talking on the phone makes me nervous, but Alisa was so kind and patient with me. She made an extra effort to make sure I followed everything. Everything was absolutely perfect thanks to her!

Going through a difficult claim currently. Have had some trouble understanding my policy, and what to do. John phoned and spent a long time talking us through and providing caring consultation. Definitely felt like we weren't alone in the process after talking with John. Finally got in touch today with our claim adjuster, very helpful and reassuring. 26 year customer, home and cars. Have to file a claim now. Asked the question if this would make our already expensive premium go up, and was told that there was forgiveness for the first claim, so it wouldn’t go up - BUT - we will lose our claim free discount. Read that again. Agent said your premium won’t go up - but you lose your claim free discount. So… It goes up. I asked how much will it go up? They won’t answer. So I cannot know the impact of filling the first ever claim before I file it. I was shocked by the refusal ... read more
