1 Star False promises, endless delays, and unacceptable communication. More than three months have passed, and I still haven’t received a single dollar from my claim. We were repeatedly assured that the approved portion of the claim would be paid promptly and were encouraged to proceed with the repairs. Trusting those assurances, we hired contractors and completed the work. Since then, communication has been extremely poor. My homeowners insurance was canceled for non-payment—triggered solely by the need for an updated expiry date—and the office provided no real warning. Despite having my phone number, email, and mailing address, I received no phone call, no email, and no standard letter. The only notice was a single registered letter that sat unclaimed at the post office, which is an entirely inadequate method for communicating a risk as severe as policy cancellation.
