I had a good experience getting my quote and transferring my insurance from out of province quickly. Communication through email was prompt and effective. My quote was a bit higher than some of my alternative quotes but I've had better customer service with cooperators.
Worst service ever, for past 2 days I have spend almost 6 hours on call while listening that pathetic music.
Be very cautious with policy changes. I experienced unexpected and unjustified premium increases, along with changes made without clear or transparent explanation. While I acknowledge that I previously had a car insurance claim, the situation worsened when I was transferred to Manitoba for work. I found this out from one of the agent. Because Co-Op does not operate in that region, Co-Operators unfairly tied my past accident to my spouse. Very disappointed with the service. It is almost impossible to get through by phone to receive an insurance quote. I tried calling for 2.5 hours with no success. I was advised to call early in the morning, so today I called at 8:59 AM, but once again I had to wait for hours and still couldn’t get through to anyone. This is extremely frustrating and a huge waste of time.
Too bad co-operators just to get a car quote you wait on the line for almost 3hours and no one ends up helping you. Too bad
