Had an excellent experience with them especially since they came under new leadership with Ari Kayode Fadare. Surprised with the very quick and timely responses we received. Also surprised with the good rates we got on quotes for home insurance. I have referred a number of people to them and they all say the same thing.
Never easy to connect to their office. The IVR routes you to online options. Very poor experience. Trying to get hold of them to ask why my payment has gone up and no one answers the call. I wonder why every customers complaint sounds the same.
I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star if I had the option. Co-operators in general is a horrible insurance company! I personally deal with Barry O’Reilly’s office. I got into an accident almost 2 months ago. The accident was not my fault and I submitted my police report to prove this claim. It’s been weeks and the $500 deductible has still not been waved from my claim. I cannot even take my car in to get it repaired until this is done. We have been with Co-operators for years. Upon receiving our house insurance renewal it had increased over 25% from last year with no claims. We inquired as to why and every time we called were given a different reason or just I don't know. There were changes in the policy that we had not approved. We shopped around and were able to get the exact same coverage for 1/3 of the price we were paying with Co-operators and also saved on our auto insurance too.
