I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering this practice. My experience here was a clear attempt to bypass informed consent. I was handed a blank digital signature pad and instructed to sign away my rights before I was even allowed to see the documents I was agreeing to. Unfortunately I’ve just had so many issues with these guys, it’s not worth wasting the time I’ve spent trying to deal with them. Offices are frequently closed without warning, with a sign on the door that gives a phone number that sends you to an emergency line where the only answers I’ve gotten are “I don’t know, maybe they’re still at lunch.” Not a lot of communication between staff and doctors it seems. I would highly recommend Dr. Weinstein and Casey Gates, the Refractive Coordinator. They both exceeded my expectations. I could not have asked for a smoother experience. This was a first time surgical procedure for me, therefore I was extremely nervous. Dr. Weinstein and Casey were quick to answer any questions I had and made me feel much more confident in choosing the PRK procedure which was successful. I’m beyond grateful for them both and all of the staff at CNY Eye care.

I don't know if the office overbooks appointments or if the doctor is just slow, but they're always running 45 minutes to an hour behind. Their AC is also either broken or used sparingly, because the office has been incredibly warm and humid both times I've visited. The doctor is fine, but the experience is so unpleasant that I won't be back again.
