As I was visiting Burlingame from out of town today I went to CDX for a color touch-up and had such a wonderful experience. The quality of work and attention to details for my hair by Ricardo was great! The space is also charming, with white painted brick walls and lots of light and a very comfortable hair washing chair where you lie completely vertical. Riccardo is hands down one of the best in the business. His attention to detail when cutting hair is exceptional — he really takes the time to understand what you want and delivers with precision and style. On top of that, his hair wash and scalp massage are next-level relaxing. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work and making sure you leave looking and feeling your best. Highly recommend!

Starting with the hair wash, the entire experience was amazing! The hair wash chair is the best I’ve ever experienced. The blowout was exceptional. It was really relaxing and calming. I’ll be back!

I’ve loved every visit here. The vibe is chill and relaxed in the best way—no pressure, no fuss, just good energy. Clod really listens: I show up with a half-formed idea and he somehow turns it into exactly what I pictured. The first time, I chopped my long hair into a sharp little bob and walked out feeling like a new person. My hair always feels totally safe in his hands, and every cut since has been spot-on. This place is a rare find, and I’d highly recommend it!
