Told me I was ineligible for provincially funded services because of xenophobic views. Openly hostile to immigrants. Director seems controlling and high strung and criticized staff in front of me. Staff turnover appears to be high. I ultimately left in a panic attack more times than not. Not a welcoming and calming environment that would support my recovery. Quite disappointing that my mental health team, family doctor, friends, and various other community resources keep trying to direct me here.
They have a beautiful building. They are in need of diversity training, specifically around immigration issues. I have tried to follow up after being repeatedly referred here, and it’s just not a comfortable atmosphere. They seem to be skilled in creating activities for people with intellectual disabilities. And while some people have both intellectual disabilities and mental health issues, they are a separate issues with different needs.

Phenomenal, Susan Henderson, is truly an awesome person. Went way above and beyond with what you could expect, who to see, and definitely gave me a well needed reassurance. She lifted a weight and I feel hope in actually getting proper help. Thank you so much! You're amazing!
