I had a very frustrating experience with Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness. When I joined, the staff insisted I take the VIP membership, promising verbally that I could downgrade later without any extra fees and that my “Price for Life” monthly rate would remain locked. Very Disappointing and Misleading Experience with Club16 I had a terrible experience with Club16. When signing up, they pushed us to take the VIP membership, assuring us that we could downgrade later without any extra charges. They also claimed that the “Price for Life” would be locked at the time of joining, and we’d just need to downgrade later if we wanted. My Experience with Club16 I signed up for a membership at Club16, and there was an employee helping me with the registration. He told me, word for word: “You will only pay $27 every two weeks, nothing more. You can cancel anytime you want with no extra fees.” At that time, I refused the Personal Training service, but he assured me that the $27 was only for the membership and that there would be no additional charges, so I agreed.
