Honestly, this was a horrible first experience with Club Pilates. The girl in the front was super sweet, but the instructor, Sarah Lovern, was extremely condescending. This is my 3rd time taking Pilates Reformer. The first two locations I went to had different styles, but the instructors were very warm and welcoming. Ever since I learned that Pilates was originally developed to support people with physical limitations and injuries, I’ve been eager to try it at a legit studio, with a certified instructor who really knows their stuff. I strongly advise against signing up at Club Pilates South Miami. Just a few days after I joined, they changed the class schedule—completely disrupting the reason I signed up in the first place. The only instructor available during the times I could attend was completely uninterested in helping students. She rushed through the classes with no attention to form or progress and clearly just wanted to get through the hour. There was zero guidance or care for the members.
