I arrived 20 minutes early to my Pilates class because I was genuinely excited to attend. When it was time to go in, I let the instructor Jola know it was my first time ever doing Pilates and asked how seating worked. Jola simply said, “sit anywhere.” A girl behind me mentioned it was her first time as well, and the instructor immediately lit up, welcomed her, and walked her through how to use the equipment.
