Pretty bad first impressions. Upon booking an intro class, I was hit with texts and phone calls asking about my fitness goals and why I wanted to try Pilates. I get the intentions, but it was too much and off-putting to me. Went through with the intro session and booked my first actual class for 6 AM, only to show up and find no one there. The doors were locked. Waited with a few others in the parking lot until about 6:10 before we all gave up and left.

Summary: I’m very impressed with the teaching staff and owner thus far for this location. Each teacher I’ve attended has each taught me different techniques and I’m very appreciative of the time and energy they’ve put into me as a member. The membership is expensive compared to some traditional gyms but for me it’s been worth every penny. The owner has always been friendly and continues to offer competitive sales. I’m very disappointed with how I’ve been treated by this Club Pilates location. I initially requested to cancel my membership in May, when my account was fully in good standing. Although their standard cancellation policy is 90 days, the manager told me I only needed to provide 30 days’ notice — which I agreed to and followed. However, I was still charged in June and July, even though I had done everything I was instructed to do. I scheduled my free class for a Sunday. They texted me the Monday before at 430 pm to confirm my appointment by 7pm that night or they will cancel it for someone else who wants the class (their words). I glanced at the message and missed that I HAD to respond or my appointment would be canceled. The message was sent at a busy time of day for me. What kind of business practice is that? Club Pilates Ahwatukee is amazing! Their instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and ensure a safe workout with great progress. Workouts are fun and you better believe you may become addicted to your pilates visits. Losing weight, strengthening, or any other reason you need a workout club pilates delivers.
