They say no contract, but after our card was cancelled they kept charging and then sent it collections. This place is horrible.

BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING! Be sure to read your printed contract before you sign because what they tell you and what you are signing are two different things. They say it's month to month and you can cancel at any time but it is not. Regardless what the commercial says or when they tell you it's month to month and you can cancel at anytime, it's a lie! On 1/6/12, I entered the Brentwood Club Fitness location. After telling the sales person, initials ESE that I only wanted to purchase the $10/month option, he told me that if I want to try the $20/month (which provides access to all locations) option I can easily downgrade at any time. I questioned this and he reassured me multiple times that I could downgrade at any time. Today, 11/26/12 I have only ever visited the Brentwood location and decided to downgrade, per our verbal agreement. Corporate offices refused to downgrade... read more

Do NOT join Club Fitness. This facility is very ghetto inside. The padding on the machines is ripped. The carpet is worn out and filthy. The locker rooms are full of trash and the lockers are falling apart. They are only interested in taking you membership fee and not making any upgrades. Also, the walls need to be painted.

Another shady budget gym... – Don't trust them. They'll tell you anything to get you to sign the contract and then renege on it... so now I'm stuck paying for my membership while I'm out of the country, rather than being able to freeze it for that period like the guy said I could. The gym itself is ok, nothing fancy - music is too loud and usually sucks.

Ugh – Pros: 24 hours, decent price Cons: way too crowded all the time..they need to expand..many times you have to wait for a machine to open, PT sessions are not worth it (alot of inexperienced trainers and you see new ones every week)..do yourself a favor and go with a friend to help and motivate each other rather than paying the extremely high fee for worthless PT sessions, make a separate area to do floor exercises for PT sessions...not in the middle of the aisles where everyone is trying to walk, alot of machines are ou... read more
