Logans Ferry Senior complex, Monroeville- there was a hot water shut off, residents were NOT notified. I talked with Property Mgr. She said she sent out a text, I did not receive one. When asked the Maintenace person Lonni (because he was on the 1st flr) he said all the water was going to be shut off. I said you can't do that without notifying the residents, he said he could. DO NOT PUT YOUR PARENTS THROUGH THIS! They are horrific with cost hikes and PRICE GOUGING. Even the washing machines are expensive. I’m a retired property manager. I’ve NEVER seen such a price hike on rent in one year. The residents fear them. They worry they will retaliate. These people are living out their final times of their lives. Disgusting. Do your research.

****update*** they gave my aunt her money back. They expedited a check. They took accountability. All is well. They take advantage of the elderly. They stole $1750 from my aunt. They told her they had to hold a check for that amount in order to be considered and that it would only be cashed if she moved forward with renting. They cashed the check two days later. They claim they’re working to resolve and never call back. We’ve filed a complaint with the BBB

These people are terrible about answering the phone or returning any calls when you have a problem but are the first to call you if the rent is 5 minutes late.
