Tried to order a chicken sandwich and wanted to make it a platter for $2 extra. They told me chicken sandwich’s are excluded, nothing on the sign indicating that. I asked the manager? She told me that was the way it is. I walked out.

Really excellent tea! I got the enchanted green tea. They don’t leave the tea bag to languish in your cup, but steep it for you, and then give you your tea! The cookies were great texture-wise, and had lots of chocolate chips. I couldn’t tell if there was more brown sugar than I’m used to, or if they don’t use butter, or what it was, but there was something in the taste that wasn’t my fav. The texture was perfect though! Long-time fans of the Clover format and focus on clean, local, veggie food. The Newtonville branch expands this with desserts and takeaway food, along with an espresso bar. Fairly crowded at lunch. Good natural light, open kitchen, use of the projector to show new drinks and specials. Try the impossible meatball!
