The lodge itself is a cool venue and unique experience. The self-guided fishing is fun if you know how to fish for salmon and bottom fish. The boats are top notch. The fishing tackle is on the cheaper side of the spectrum, but very functional. The meals this lodge serves are very small and very bland. The meals are a total slap in the face for the high cost of the trip. What a truly amazing experience! From the minute you arrive, until the minute you leave the whole Clover Bay Lodge makes you feel so welcome:) lodging, food, drink and oh yeah… fishing is amazing. See you soon:)
We have been to a few lodges throughout Alaska and in British Columbia but none are as great as cloverbay. The staff and owners are what makes this place special along with good fishing. If you like to fish this is the place for you!
Ryan, Angie and the entire team at Clover Bay will make your experience a 10. This is a floating resort tucked into a cove in Alaska so it's not the Ritz.....but it's outstanding from top to bottom.
Awesome hospitality and A+ fishing. Clover bay crew go above and beyond to make sure you get the full Alaska fishing experience. Thanks for an awesome trip, will definitely be back.
