Beautiful people, beautiful location, the cabins are a perfect retreat, at a great price, with a variety cabins to suits singles to families.

Beautiful location surrounded by amazing native trees and wild life, such an amazing area of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. I wish I could say the same about Koala Cabins itself. The owner was rude and overbearing we felt quite uncomfortable, the room although cleaned very nicely smelled of mold and damp and we could see it starting to bleed through the paint, the shower drain overflowed instantly and there was a horrible sewage smell, the parking was incredibly inaccessible, no laundry facilities on site. We had a wonderful overnight stay at this self-contained accommodation. From the moment we arrived, Gary made us feel exceptionally welcome—he greeted us personally, showed us around, and even had the fireplace going for a warm and cosy arrival. Gary's easygoing and thoughtful approach made the whole experience feel relaxed and inviting. The room itself was spotless, beautifully styled, and the perfect size for a night away. Firstly, I would like to say I rarely give one-star reviews, but I am very disappointed. Getting a phone call to say we had to cancel our booking one month before Easter weekend was unacceptable. The honorable thing to do would have been to wait to change your stay policy until after Easter. Now we are stuck trying to find new accommodation so close to Easter. What if we were flying in from another state with children? Not impressed; such poor business practices.
