I chose this hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday and booked well in advance. I even contacted the hotel ahead of time to request assistance with spa and restaurant reservations, but it took over a week to receive a response. I made a reservation at the French restaurant, where they specifically ask if you are celebrating a special occasion, which creates the expectation that they will make it feel special.
