Have been on 5 retreats here. Amazing place to spend time in contemplation and peace. Supportive, caring staff. Heather Martin is lovely. I highly recommend Cloud Mountain.
Can only describe it as "nirvana". You're in this mossy, secluded, bright emerald green space in the forest, and these retreats allow me to attain the most calm, and the most pure happiness, I have ever felt. I love the vegetarian meals, I love how slowly we move, I love not having to worry about time and having our movements guided by bells, I love being in silence, and I even love having to do daily chores. Unaccommodating in working with scheduling needs. Will not allow attendance or refund money. I paid months in advance and needed to leave the retreat 1/2 day. They denied my attendance due to early departure and refused to give me a refund.
Profound experiences in a beautiful location with excellent teachers and staff. Loved the meals and comfortable accommodations.
Good experience. All needs were taken care of and they are always ready to help you with the "forgotten" item. Staff was warm and welcoming. Atmosphere is peaceful and will keep you at ease.
