I have sold and shopped here, and am happy with both! As a shopper I know their merchandise is current and in great condition, so that means they have to be selective when buying items from people! They are pretty clear and up front about that. It's not your typical consignment or thrift store. Definitely recommend the shopping, and if you want to sell, call or go by for information AND follow the guidelines. Don't take it personally if they don't take stuff...they know what sells!
I think this may be the very first review I've ever taken the time to write on a business! DO NOT waste your time in taking your clothes here for resale. The past three times I've taken my clothes in, they barely bought anything. The first two times, they bought nothing. Nice brand name clothing, shoes, and handbags (Coach, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke) with very fair prices! Everyone is friendly and inviting. Lovely store that I plan to visit often!
Brought back and item that I purchased the day prior with receipt and the front desk clerk was rude.
I did love this store. I shop all the time at platos closet on sawmill in fact I shop everywhere using our debit card, my fiancé debit card that is. And each time your manager rang me up. I was never so humiliated in my life. The manager on my 3 rd visit told me I can never use my debit card again unless my name is on it, yet comment her husbands card she has the same issue ?!?!! This place is a waste of time, you would be better off selling at a garage sale! I had a few designer purses and other unworn items and they wouldnt accept them. The prices they had on their clothing was a little high for worn looking items!
I buy all of my clothes here! So thankful that I'm able to get the brands that I love (but refuse to pay full price for) at affordable prices! And when I'm ready for a new wardrobe I just sell it back and get more new (to me) stuff!
Came in with two designer purses. I didn't know if they would buy them they're both remarkably old and out dated, but judging by the horrific outfits in their store window display I thought they probably take anything, but the sales people were so unbelievably rude I couldn't even see straight. Since Crystal did a segment on Better living she evidently thinks highly of herself now . She was very rude to me when I took items to sell. I noticed she was rude to others also. I won't be going back anymore.Good luck crystal. If you make enough customers upset you won't have a business anymore. Reality is CUSTOMERS make the business NOT the "I'm better than you" managers.
