Brought the whole fam (me, my husband, our two 4 year olds, and both my parents) to paint ceramics on a gloomy Saturday afternoon. Checked online the day before to see if we could reserve a time but there is no option to do so. We got there at 2:45 pm and it was packed. Employees said come back in 20 min and there should be a table available, so we briefly wandered around the shops then returned to find that a table had cleared and been given away to someone who walked in right before we got back. Maybe we got odd employees, but my experience was very cold. I would not recommend this place for a first-time painter. I've painted pottery before, so knew what to do. However, I was there as part of a kids' birthday party in the party room. 10 kids that didn't know what to do. An employee wrote down what pieces were grabbed. That's the only employee interactions the party received. No instructions were provided by the employees. I had to tell the kids what to do, then acted as an assistant. I was not the party host. Great experience for novice painters and craft enthusiasts. Also great date spot for those looking for something fun and different.
