He is the best Dr. I have ever had! Takes his time with explanations and is very personal and has a caring attitude! I just hate he's leaving so much! I will definitely follow him!
Was so pleased to get my first appointment. After being told I needed surgery asap. Almost 2 years later no surgery because of other health problems and now he's leaving. Will be truly missed. Hopefully we get a new doctor in this area soon. 4 stars because I had to find out somewhere else he was leaving. Which isn't his fault, the office should have notified patients sooner
Dr. Mahmoud is the most amazing, caring doctor I have ever seen. Not only is he an excellent neurosurgeon, but he actually listens to his patients. I have some serious spine and nerve damage. Have also had many orthopedic surgeries. Dr. Mahmoud takes everything into account. He looks at your history, your lifestyle, your goals, and your personal/family support system. Dr. Mahmoud and his assistant,Bridgette, were so personable and thoural in their assessment of my condition. Dr. Mahmoud explained everything so completely and in terms I could understand. They both took time with me and answered my questions. I have never been to a doctor who was so un-hurried and really seamed concerned about what I was going through. I would highly recommend Dr. Mahmoud and Novant Heath to anyone.
