Purchased a new garage doors and opener from this company. Worst company. Their garage door came down on my car when pulling out. The sensors did not stop it. They refuse to fix my damaged car. They state the sensor went between my wheels, and worked correctly. Which is a lie. As you can see from the pictures my car sits low. The height between my wheels is 7” and The sensor sits at 12”. Owning this very expensive set of doors has been nothing but a disappointment. The trim started falling off two years into owning it and their solution was to mail new pieces and glue out like I’m supposed to understand how to deconstruct and rebuild my door myself. Now 10 years after purchasing the doors, the springs are breaking, which is expected, only all their “Authorized Dealers” within driving distance of my location are either Home Depot who doesn’t carry all the parts or garage door repair companies that refused to ... read more
I wished I'd read these and other reviews before buying 2" insulated, wood-grain look, 9 x 8 ft. doors through Home Depot (or through any seller). Ordered June 1, 2023, still unresolved. Clopay continues to insist we got all the right parts: rails, rods, cables, clamps, etc. Our installers who install garage doors for a living, beg to differ. I ordered a door from them 2 months ago and nothing yet. I was told today that it would be a couple more weeks.
I have two new overhead doors and I misplaced the exterior lifting handles. I called customer service and they helped me out with some Goodwill parts. They did not have to do that but they did. It's very much appreciated. Thank you
