3.5/5 Stars. I don't go to Ormond Beach that much, but I heard about this Local Comic Book Store (LCS) when reviewing the area for them. Store have heavy focus on comic books and card games, which the back room have multiple tables for the card games. Store was jammed packed with boxes and boxes of comics, over 100+ boxes at least. With that being said, I had issues on how they organize the boxes (at least to me). Boxes are not separated by DC/Marvel/Indies. I can definitely say this is one of the more interesting stores I've visited since I've been in the Georgia/Florida area. Upon entry I was greeted and told if I needed help to simply ask. While in the store, I saw a strong community of Magic players enjoying their hobby. I also saw a strong collection of comic books, both in bulk and higher-value issues. I actually got to purchase the namesake of the store by getting a copy of The Amazing Spider-Man, which had the first appearance of Cloak and Dagger. So I'd say overall this... read more
Visited here while in Daytona area. Always looking to check out comic stores for one I might be missing. Conveniently located in small strip mall, ample parking. They have a large selection of Current Comics and a fair selection of comics from the 1960s and 1970s. Laid out nicely, and easy to browse through. There are also boxes of consignment comics to check out. Then there are quite a few Sale comics 25 cents plus boxes at 50% off, so lots of selections for the casual buyer.
