I made an appointment over the phone, but as soon as I arrived, a woman in the shop turned me away at the door, saying they do not work with “my type of hair”—without even looking at it. Mind you, my hair is very soft and easy to manage, but I wasn’t even given a chance. I was shocked and honestly mortified. This felt discriminatory and extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon.
I’ve gone to get pixie cuts at Clip & Style for over half a year with Monica and always leave happy with my results. She asks for a reference photo and is definitely a perfectionist, making sure everything is even and squared away and just how you like it. I only had to come in for a touch up once same day and she was super nice about it, no additional cost. I definitely recommend! Great value for the price as well.
