Drove half an hour for bloodwork at I needed completed for surgery in a couple of days. Walked in to an almost empty waiting room and was told that appointments are mandatory now and have been for 5 months (which I knew wasn’t true). Left and called the main lab number and was told that all Sparrow labs take walk ins still and St. John’s just basically decides to do what they want and that it’s been an ongoing issue. Over the last few years the service has gotten worse. Ridiculously long wait times and now I’ve tried for three days to make an appointment first thing due to fasting labs needed. No available appointments. So I decided to walk in before the lab opened to “get in line” only to be told they only do lab draws by appointment only!

Over an hour wait for a blood draw. All nurses that came into waiting room were rude. There were only 4 people in waiting room and everyone had been here for over an hour . Don't come here if you were told by your dr that you need lab work done within 24 hrs.

The lab doesn't even deserve one star. This place used to be great, but the last 2 times I have been here, I have had to wait 2 hours or more for my blood to be drawn. I won't be back to this lab again!
