Alright, buckle up. I came in here for an inspection that happened to coincide with my check engine light being on. They took a look at my car and told me I'd need to replace my catalytic converter and O-ring and it would cost me $1700. They said I had no choice but to go through with this if I wanted to pass the inspection since a car can't pass if the check engine light is on, even though my car was running just fine, and the catalytic converter issue just affected its' emissions.
