I showed up for my first appointment with a nurse for my pregnancy at 10:45 for an 11am appointment. I checked in with the receptionist and provided my health card. I then waited an hour and a half without being called. I went to see the receptionist again and she said she would ask the nurse. I overhear her convo with the nurse who says that since the receptionist did not notify her of my arrival, she marked me as a no show. Luckily, the clinic Delta managed to give me an urgent same day appointment for a senior patient (84). Dr Makuza was very astute and took quick action to contact emergency department and ambulance. He was very compassionate and competent in his diagnostic. He basically saved a life that day. Thanks to him and team, patient is now doing well.
This clinic does not function. The online portal for booking appointments permanently states "none available". I heard that each week you HAVE to call on one particular day (I still don't know what day it is that they take appointments for the week!) but they don't tell you what day that is. And no one answers anyways. How do I book an appointment with my family Dr. who works here?? Please tell me, anyone.
J’appelle la première journée que j’apprends que je suis enceinte pour un suivi de grossesse. Je n’aurais pas pu savoir avant on s’entend… mais c’est trop tard pour cette clinique. La réceptionniste te crie dessus, en m’expliquant que la doc ne peut pas me voir plus tard que 12 semaines.
