They create more problems than they solve. They are very unprofessional. Never encountered so-called "mental health professionals" who use stonewalling and the silent treatment to punish their patients. The social worker I had wanted me to rent a section 8 apartment that would have put me in the middle of nowhere. The apartment would have left me with peanuts from my SSDI to the point where I would not even be able to buy food. When I expressed my concern over this, I was dumped like a hot potato! Horrible service. They escalate some situations while also ignoring some for days. It’s very clear they do not provide adequate training, as there’s no real consistency in how they handle crisis. As much as this area of Franklin county needs mental health support, I highly recommend steering clear.
