Clinical staff and doctor were great. Front desk needs work! I worked in medical and dental offices for 25+ yrs, and trained staff many times. The doctor does not know what goes on "up front" which sometimes presents a problem. The front staff is the first contact new patients encounter and it is very important. Spends quality time to listen, asks questions, explains tests and why they are being done. Caring and compassionate. What more can you ask for in a physician?
Dr P is is truly the best. He listens to me as a patient and takes the time to answer questions (a rare thing these days sadly) he’s so thorough with tests and explaining results. He’s also referred me to other great specialists and given me good advice. I feel really lucky to have him as my neurologist.
Office staff is a pain to deal with. When I checked in for the first time I was told that they just came back from lunch and to just wait with a full waiting room. Feels more like a cash grab, like an SSI evaluation practice for those on a low income. During my first appointment, a few questions were asked by the assistant and then the doctor walked in.
