I have been training with David Drake from Clinical Cardio for several months now, and I have only good things to say about him. Here is my story: At the beginning of this year I began reducing exercise of my body, because I tolerated it less and less. When I chased my dog around the kitchen island for about 30 seconds, I had to sit down and catch my breath. I felt nauseated and often lightheaded. I got a nuclear stress test, which led to doing an angiogram showing only mild plaque in one artery. Nothing to worry about, just... read more
David's passion for, and expertise in, the area of cardiology and human performance was evident from the moment I met him. Over the course of my first session with him, it was clear that he deeply understands, from a scientific perspective, how to optimize my cardiovascular needs and my physical performance capabilities. I've been looking for his unique combination of interests, knowledge, and skill sets for most of my adult life and have certainly found it at Clinical Cardio.
I was so anxious and worried before and following my Aortic Valve replacement. The heart surgery was intense but I also had a T7 compression fracture I was struggling with before my surgery and was afraid it would become worse after the open heart procedure. It was, and David worked closely with my heart recovery, my fears, and my back injury. He is so genuine and caring, and is so knowledgeable! He also raised me up to my highest potential of exercise I could do and I’m determined to keep up with my cardio and back strength... read more
David is one of a kind cardio coach who helped me immensly when my EP left me adrift after my cardiac ablation for AFIB. He not only guided me by monitored cardio training , he also gave me psychological guidance that helped me to move forward when I thought all had faileld. He listened and gave me structural support directing me toward my workout goals while I was in the "blanking period" of the procedure. He is the one for your cardiac healing journey .You will be uplifted and inspired. He is the cardiac guru!
I am so grateful to have worked with David on my cardiac recovery. David's exercise physiology and cardiac care knowledge is so reassuring. He builds your confidence.......which is necessary post cardiac surgery. Try working out with David, you won't be disappointed.
