I saw Dr. Bierenbaum for awhile. He told me we would do CBT therapy but never started/ eventually I kept asking and was told we would start and then got excuses like “it’s boring” or “I’m not sure you’ll buy into it.” After he fell asleep in a session I stopped going and requested another person. The office never followed up with my request but made sure they could follow up about my bill. I would avoid this practice.
It took five months to get an eval and FMLA done only to be shortchanged. More than one practitioner here is in the habit of just milking your insurance.
Dr. B was able to diagnose me when others turned me any. He is very understanding, caring and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with personally or developmental issues.
